Duo: How to Re-Enroll Your Account

You will need to re-enroll your device from a tablet or computer

 

Two Step Duo functionality will not automatically transfer to the new phone – you need to re-enroll your new device using the instructions provided below (click here for pdf instructions). 

Please note that you will need to contact the Technology Support Center for the following instances:

  • If you are locked out of Duo due to excessive authentication failures.
  • If you have a new phone number.

Re-enrollment Directions:

Note: If you have multiple devices registered, select your mobile phone in the device list.

  • Click Enter a Passcode.
  • A blue box appears, select Text me new codes.
  • You will receive a text message with a seven digit code. Enter this code in the box and click Log In.
  • Click Device Options.
  • Click Reactivate Duo Mobile.
  • Select the type of phone you have, click Continue.
  • If you still have to install the Duo app on your phone, go to your app store and type Duo Mobile. If you have the app installed, click I have Duo Mobile installed.

The next few steps require your phone to complete

  • Open the app on your phone
  • Tap the + button
  • Scan the barcode on your computer screen
  • Your phone will display a code
  • The screen will show you a checkbox
  • Click Continue
  • You should see a success message
  • Click Dismiss as you have successfully completed your setup
