When I receive a second call while on the phone, what do I do?

Options for handling a second call when already on a phone call.
Body
Utilize the Caller ID display to determine if you need to take the call. You will see the incoming number on your display and hear a short beep in your ear.
You have three choices:
- If you want to take the call tell the 1st caller to hold.
- Press the Answer softkey – this automatically places 1stcall on hold and connects you with 2nd call.
- When you are done with the call you can press End Call softkey.
- Press resume softkey to continue with 1st call.
- If you want to stay on with 2nd call and hang up with the 1st call, press the Hold softkey to place the 2nd call on hold.
- Use the toggle button in the middle of the phone with two arrows to highlight the 1st call.
- Press Resume softkey.
- Explain that you need to hang up with them.
- Press End Call.
- Press Resume to continue speaking with 2nd caller.
- If you do not want to take the 2nd incoming call don’t answer and it will go directly to voice mail. If they leave a message while you are on the phone, you will see a red light on the base of the phone where the handset rests.
