How do I enable Panopto in my course?

  1. Log into the Brightspace course in which you want to add Panopto recordings
  2. Click on the “Content” tab
  3. Create a new module called “Panopto Recordings”
  4. Within the new module, choose “Add Existing Activities” and select “External Learning Tools”
  5. Select “Panopto Recordings” – this will create a link in the content area to “Panopto Recordings” where all of your videos will appear
  6. Change the Panopto link from “Published” to “Draft” to prevent students from seeing all of your videos (you can all students to access specific videos later)
  7. When you click on the “Panopto Recordings” link, you will see a green “Create” button at the to of the screen – click this button and select “Record a New Session”

If you are using one of the enabled classrooms in BRN, MGH or LSC, you are now ready to use Panopto.
